Can the timing work?
We compare the proposed schedule with realistic movement, viewing and meal time.
Review Before You Commit
Practical itinerary review and on-site research for overseas travel companies before bookings are made and tours go on sale.
Introduction
YK Japan examines how a proposed destination, route, facility or programme is likely to work for the intended guests.
The scope can be a single itinerary question, a targeted visit to an unfamiliar site, or a combined review of a new Japan product. Findings reflect information and conditions available at the time of the assignment.
01 / Desk Review
A practical desk-based review of your proposed Japan itinerary, examining timing, pacing, access, guest suitability and operational feasibility.
02 / Field Research
Targeted field research at locations, facilities or routes where first-hand information is needed before a decision is made.
03 / Combined Review
A combined itinerary review and targeted on-site investigation for new or higher-impact Japan products.
The assignment brings desk review, field research where needed, key findings, conditions, practical improvements and alternatives into one consolidated report.
Depending on the location and scope, field research may be conducted with trusted local professionals under YK Japan’s direction and final review.
Typical Questions
We compare the proposed schedule with realistic movement, viewing and meal time.
We consider pace, mobility, interests, age profile and previous Japan experience.
We identify assumptions that need first-hand research or clearer supplier information.
We look for difficult transfers, group movement issues and compressed working time.
We suggest practical revisions, conditions or alternative options.
We state limitations and further questions instead of presenting uncertain information as fact.
